Our technicians are authorized vendors for multiple Part 135 certificates, enrolled in a DOT Drug & Alcohol Abatement Program, and approved by Bombardier Aerospace, allowing us to meet or exceed industry-leading Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
The Jetmech team is factory-trained across major OEMs, including Gulfstream, Bombardier, Dassault, Textron, and holds certifications in avionics and battery systems. This breadth of training and experience allows us to deliver a customized approach to aircraft maintenance that aligns with each client’s unique operational needs.

Kelly McDonough ~ Founder & President
Kelly McDonough brings over 30 years of expertise in aviation maintenance and management, with a strong track record supporting both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former helicopter crew chief, Kelly achieved the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged following his service. He holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License with Inspection Authorization and earned a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Maintenance Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Kelly’s extensive hands-on experience spans a wide range of business aircraft, including Hawker, Learjet, Citation, Challenger 300/350, Challenger 604/605, Falcon 2000, 900, and 7X, as well as Gulfstream GIV-SP and G650 models. His work at both independent service centers and Gulfstream’s Long Beach facility has equipped him with a deep understanding of the operational and technical demands of today’s business aviation environment.
As the founder of Jetmech Aviation, Kelly applies this comprehensive background to ensure clients receive the highest standard of service, safety, and support.
Alex Calderon ~ Director Of Maintenance
With over 25 years of aviation experience, Alex Calderon brings exceptional expertise in coordinating aircraft operations, managing personnel, and ensuring maintenance excellence. Receiving the highest rank of Sergeant, Alex was a U.S. Air Force combat veteran and completed four combat tours of duty. His military background laid a strong foundation for a distinguished civilian career. He has held key roles at L3 Communications, Lockheed Martin and Bombardier Aerospace.
Alex is factory trained on Bombardier, Textron, Gulfstream, Dassault, Boeing, and Airbus platforms. His deep technical knowledge and solution-oriented approach ensures that all maintenance is performed to regulatory standards and company expectations, with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and clear communication.
Kellie Saelee ~ Office & Client Accounts Manager
Kellie Saelee brings over nine years of experience in the aviation industry, along with two years in the medical field. Her diverse background has equipped her with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, administrative coordination, and high-level client service excellence. As the Office & Client Accounts Manager at Jetmech, Kellie oversees daily office operations, streamlines administrative workflows, and manages both client and vendor relationships. She plays a key role in maintaining clear, efficient communication across teams, supporting technicians, clients, and leadership with professionalism and precision.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and is known for her reliability, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to excel in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
